Football Teams
The Tomball Redcats & SophistiKats Booster Club is one of ten organizations that comprise
the All American Youth Football & Drill Team (AAYFDT) league.
Flag
Flag football is offered to players 5-7-year-old Kindergarten/First graders) - Must be at least 5 and cannot be older than 7 on 11/30
Practices are held typically on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7pm. Practices can be changed according to availability of coaches and/or players. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 8 am.
Flag teams will be limited to no more than 14 players. Each team must start each game with 8 players, if a team falls below 6 during the game, the game will be stopped and the team with not enough players will be given a loss.
Players will play a minimum of 10 plays per game.
Freshmen
Freshman football is offered to players in 2nd/3rd grade - Cannot be 10 before 11/2030
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 9 am, arrival time is generally 1 hour beforehand.
Freshmen football is offered to players ages 7 & 8 years old.
The Redcats will supply the following football equipment for your player to use during the football season you are registered for.

- Game Pants (1)
- Practice Pants (1)
- Game Socks
- Mouth Guard
- Game Day Jersey

Sophomore
Sophomore football is offered to players in 4th grade - Cannot be 11 before 11/2030
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 10:30 am, arrival time is generally 1hour beforehand.

Junior
Junior football is offered to players in 5th grade - Cannot be 12 before 11/2030
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 12:00 pm, arrival time is generally 1hour beforehand.

Senior
Senior football is offered to players in 6th grade - Cannot be 13 before 11/2030
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 1:30 pm, arrival time is generally 1hour beforehand.
