Football Teams
The Tomball Redcats & SophistiKats Booster Club is one of ten organizations that comprise
the All American Youth Football & Drill Team (AAYFDT) league.
Flag
Flag football is offered to players 5–7–year–old
Kinder/1st Grade – Must be Age 5 and cannot be age 8 before 11/30* – 7 Year Old players may play flag or tackle as long as they do not meet the max age*
Practices are held typically on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6–7pm. Practices can be changed by the Club Athletic Director, according to weather or holidays. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 8 am.
Your equipment fee will cover the cost of your player’s Game Day Jersey, Game Day Shorts, and Game Day Socks. These are yours to keep after the season is over. You will need to provide your own cleats for your player.
Freshmen
Freshman football is offered to players in 2nd/3rd grade – Cannot be 10 before 11/30*
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm – 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 9 am, arrival time is generally 1 hour beforehand.
The Redcats will supply a Certified Helmet and Shoulder Pads for your player to use during the football season you are registered for, but these must be returned at the end of the season.
Your equipment fee will cover the cost of your player’s Game Day Jersey, Game Day Pants, and Game Day Socks. These are yours to keep after the season is over.
You will need to provide your own mouth piece, red practice jersey, black practice pants, and cleats for your player.
Sophomore
Sophomore football is offered to players in 3rd/4th grade – Cannot be 11 before 11/30*
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm – 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 10:30 am, arrival time is generally 1 hour beforehand.

Junior
Junior football is offered to players in 4th/5th grade – Cannot be 12 before 11/30*
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm – 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays with a kick-off time of 12:00 pm, arrival time is generally 1 hour beforehand.
The Redcats will supply a Certified Helmet and Shoulder Pads for your player to use during the football season you are registered for, but these must be returned at the end of the season.

Senior
Senior football is offered to players in 5th/6th grade – Cannot be 13 before 11/30*
Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm – 7:30 pm. Games are played on Saturdays.
The Senior game shall begin promptly following the Junior game, but not before 2:00 PM, unless BOTH Presidents approve an earlier start time but not before 1:30 PM.
